Obituary for William F. "Tuffy" Tash Jr.
Howland – William F. “Tuffy” Tash, Jr., 83, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at his home. He was born March 23, 1937 in Chester, the son of William F. and Euna (Lancaster) Tash, Sr.
William grew up in Chester and Howland. He drove truck for Lionel Dube for many years, hauling wood chips, logs, and working in the forest products industry. He loved spending time with his son, especially when they would go fishing. He loved talking and sharing a good story.
William is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna M. (Richards) Tash; two children, William F. Tash, III and his girlfriend, Barbie Prendergast, and Lisa Haskell and her husband Brent; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Christopher Erwin Tash, and his siblings.
Graveside services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 4 at the Howland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln. Services will be livestreamed, and messages of condolence expressed, at Tuffy’s Book of Memories at www.lamsonfh.com.
