Stonington – Timothy L. Bray, Sr., 62, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 with his family by his side, after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. He was born June 3, 1956 in Castine, the son of Henry C. and Letha F. (Nevells) Bray.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Gross) Bray; three children, Anna French and her husband Jamie, Lisa Lamson and her husband Chip, and Timothy L. Bray, Jr. and partner Sky Battis; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings Darlene Hardy and her husband Neville, Rachel Place and her husband Bud, James E. Bray, Sr. and his wife Barbara, Dexter C. Bray, Sr. and his companion Joyce Wood, and Mary Getchell and her husband Steve; a brother in law, Adelbert Gross; a sister in law, Donna Bray; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Henry Bray, and two sisters, Charlene Carter Jones, and Jeanne Bray.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Monday, October 22 at the Bray Family Cemetery, Mountainville, Deer Isle. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home.
