She enjoyed swimming, sailing and skiing both on water and snow. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She often had her camera with her and took many wonderful photos.

The Maine Audubon Society in Falmouth was a place where she loved to volunteer. During her tenure with them she was able to enjoy Audubon led trips to Scotland and Belize. While in Belize she rented a bicycle and rode into Guatemala.

Thora had two Chocolate Labs that she loved with all of her heart, Reba & Holly. She spent a lot of her time playing with them and walking to Mackworth Island State Park in Falmouth. Their ashes will travel to eternity with her.
