Obituary for Sylvia Worthing
Howland – Sylvia Worthing, 87, died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at her home with family around her. She was born May 29, 1931 in Greenbush, the daughter of Levingstone and Noretta (Harris) Godsoe, Sr.
Molly spent many happy hours in her garden, and also loved crocheting. She created many bedspreads and doilies, and also knit many things for her family and friends.
Molly is survived by seven children, Linda Hanson, Irma Paradis and her husband Robert, Durwood Dugans and his wife Cynthia, Jeff Smith and his wife Dina, Tena Braley and her husband Tim, Dana Worthing, and Susan Worthing; 24 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Lee Godsoe; a very special friend and neighbor, Myrtle Reed; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers and a sister.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 1-3 P.M. Tuesday, April 16 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
