Obituary for Sylvain M. Gagnon
Howland and Quebec Province – Sylvain M. Gagnon, 65, died Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born June 21, 1957 in Quebec Province, Canada, the son of Lionel and Mariette (Roy) Gagnon.
Sylvain moved to Howland, Maine with his family in 1961. While in Maine Sylvain was an avid woodsman, working with his father before moving back to Quebec. He enjoyed spending time with his family during the holiday get togethers and had a deep love of gardening and cooking, as well as riding around in his red pickup truck.
Sylvain is predeceased by his parents, a brother, Gerry Gagnon, and a nephew Aaron Gagnon. He is survived by his sisters Josee Gagnon Proulx and her husband Paul of Quebec, Sylvie Gagnon of Enfield, and sister Suzanne Gagnon and Zachary Weisleder of Hampden; brothers Yves Gagnon and his wife Gladys of Howland, and Langis Gagnon of Lincoln; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
