Millinocket - Susan M. (Searles) Herring went home to the Lord on December 13, 2021. She was born on February 10, 1947 to the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Worcester) Searles in Brownville, Maine.
Sue was married to the love of her life, Thomas E. Herring, for 54 years.
Sue was a very crafty person who loved to bake, sew, crochet, and paint. She worked for years as the secretary and Sound Engineer for the Millinocket Church of the Nazarene.
Sue is survived by her husband Tom and sons Craig T from Lebanon, NH and Donald W from Old Town, ME. Sisters, Mary Jean (DeeDee) and husband David Ellingson from Poulsbo, WA; Roberta and husband David Smith from North Conway, NH; and Donna Curtis from Glenburn, ME. Brother-in-law Fred Herring and wife Yvette; sister-in-law Jeannine Benson; brother-in-law Jamie Herring and his wife Tally all from Millinocket. Sister-in-law Judy Nicholson and her husband Scott from East Millinocket. Sue is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
