Obituary for Scott A. Leavitt Jr.
Millinocket: Scott A. Leavitt Jr. passed away unexpectedly from an aneurism at his home on March 15, 2023, at the age of 39.
He was born in Millinocket on September 11, 1983 the son of Scott A. Leavitt Sr. and Lorrie (Roby) Leavitt. He was a graduate of Stearns High School Class of 2002. Scott spent his time growing up in Millinocket. He worked for New England Tech Air for over 10 years at the time of his passing. While there, he made lasting friendships with his coworkers, and they all thought the world of him. He was a hard worker, but he always looked forward to the weekend and spending time with his family. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his nephews, Parker and Sawyer, as we as his niece Abby. Scott also enjoyed riding his ATV.
He is survived by his parents of Millinocket, One brother, James M. Leavitt and wife, Mary of Sanford, and two sisters, Katie C. Leavitt and companion, Ryan Robinson, of Millinocket and Morgan M. Leavitt of Minot. He also had a close relationship with his many uncles, aunts and cousins, especially his cousin and best friend Colleen Nichols. He also had many friends including his special friends Ernie Brooks, Lance Hartley, Terrance Parone, Jason Berube and Josh Montgomery.
He is predeceased by both his paternal grandparents, Gerald G. and Helen C. (McGowen) Leavitt and his maternal Grandmother Doris Michaud, as well as 3 of his uncles. Scotty weas a quiet soul and always willing to help those in need. He will be sorely missed. Services will be posted at a later date this spring.
