Obituary for Scott D. Ireland
West Enfield – Scott D. Ireland, 51, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born March 3, 1970 in Lincoln, the son of Douglas R. and Vesta M. (Drost) Ireland.
Scott grew up in West Enfield, and was a graduate of Penobscot Valley High School, class of 1989. He was a die-hard Ford man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, and being outside. An excellent mechanic, he liked the challenge of being able to fix anything. Scott was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on October 10, 1991in Composite Lodge #168, A.F. & A.M.
In addition to his parents, Scott is survived his grandfather, George Drost and his wife Glennis; his son Colby, his pride and joy; his daughter and “Little Princess” as he always called her, Malorie; his sister Traci Ireland Bubar and her husband Snapper; a niece Rylee and a nephew Connor; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother Sarah Drost, and grandparents Leo and Ella Ireland.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-6 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held in the springtime at the West Enfield Cemetery.
