Obituary for Ryan Kristopher Hersey
Millinocket - Ryan Kristopher Hersey, born May 14, 1994, Son of Kristopher Hersey and Laurie George, unexpectedly passed away due to injuries he sustained in an accident on December 2, 2022.
Ryan was always the first to help anyone that needed an extra hand. His outgoing and family-first personality made him easy to love. Ryan was a self-employed roofing contractor/carpenter and loved his work. He enjoyed being outside, being on the lake, cooking, and writing poems.
Ryan is survived by his father Kristopher Hersey and step father Eric George; his siblings Devin Pulkkinen, Kristina Hersey, Miranda Mills and Rhonnie Charette; step-mother Tammy Mackin; paternal uncles Garrett Hersey and Bret Jackson, paternal aunt Rachael Follansbee; maternal uncle Desi Austin; paternal grandparents Sharon and Bill Jackson; maternal grandmother Elaine Cyr; special aunts Joann Dickinson, Cathy Morrow, Lori Morrison, Shelley Eades and Wendy Hogan; special uncles Steve Morrow and Mike Hersey as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is also survived by the love of his life Colleen Graffam. He is predeceased by his mother Laurie George, grandfathers Robert Hersey and Desmond Austin.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 PM Wednesday, December 7 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket where funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, December 8.
