Obituary for Ruth M. Sage
Howland – Ruth M. Sage, 91, wife of the late Lloyd Sage, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 in Howland. She was born July 31, 1928 in Enfield, the daughter of Waldo and Ella (Doane) Davis.
Ruth worked for many years in Lincoln as a CNA. She enjoyed her flower garden, cooking, and most of all her grandchildren. Many memories were made spending time at camp on South Branch Pond.
Ruth is survived by her son, Rodney Sage and his wife, Joan of Howland; a daughter, Barbara Twombly and her husband Matthew of Florida; grandchildren, Mandy Spear and her husband Tim, Lana Cummings and her husband Bruce, Aaron Twombly and his wife Kelly, Daniel Twombly and his wife Lisa; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Swett; a sister in law, Mona Swett and her husband Donald; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Ruth was predeceased by siblings Harold Davis, Blaine Davis, William Davis, Kenneth Davis, Lucille Elliot, Louise Ward, Annice Goodwin, and Florence Dudley.
Graveside services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Howland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
