Lincoln - Ruth Jipson Carll, 91, went to her new home in Heaven on Sunday, March 15, 2020. She was born in Kingman, Maine on March 20, 1928, the daughter of Asa and Ora (McAlpine) Jipson. She married Lowell R. Carll on April 14, 1946. They were married 53 years before his death in 1999. They had three daughters, Laverne, Audrey and Sarah. Up until her recent illness, she did the crossword puzzle in the newspaper every day and loved to get on Facebook and read about what her family and friends were doing. She started the Jipson Family Reunion which will be celebrating its 35th year this August. She was the owner/operator of the Lighthouse Christian Book Store in Lincoln in the mid-1970s. She is survived by her daughters, Laverne Carll of Lincoln, Audrey Currie and husband Steve of Lincoln, and Sarah Crosby and husband Michael of Machiasport; three grandsons, Derek Crocker and wife Judy of East Grand Lake, Danforth, Delmont Crocker of Augusta and Russell Crocker of Lincoln; seven great-grandchildren Derek Crocker Jr. of Stonington, Rikki Lynn Hewes of Stonington, Taylor Crocker of Gouldsboro, Paul and Lars Zoephel of Fanaway, Washington, Sylvia Savage of Enfield, and Cody Crocker of Lincoln; three great-great-grandchildren, Jace Bouchard of Prospect Harbor, Kenya Crocker of Birch Tree, Missouri, and Delilah Nevells of Stonington; a brother John (Jack) Jipson and sister-in-law Angie Jipson of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by six siblings, Blanche Worster, Lawrence Jipson, Wallace Jipson, Calvin Jipson, Ethel Dill and Laura Ogden. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 19, from 6-8pm at Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lee Street, Lincoln and funeral services will be on Friday, March 20, at 1pm at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lincoln.
