Obituary for Rosaire Joseph Deloge Jr.

Rosaire Joseph  Deloge Jr.
Medway – Rosaire Joseph Deloge, Jr., 67, passed away Millinocket Regional Hospital, surrounded by friends and family.
For many years he battled oral cancer and other health issues, and on Sunday, September 9, 2018 the Good Lord and Savior came for Rosaire and took him home.
Rosaire was born June 12, 1951 in Van Buren, the son of Rosaire and Geneva (Theriault) Deloge, Sr. He graduated from Schenck High School and was employed by the Great Northern Paper Company in Millinocket for many years. Rosaire served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved to fix and tinker with all kinds of trucks, cars, and motorized machinery. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to yard sales. He was also talented with woodworking and creating art projects. He loved people in general and family, and most of all he loved life, the Lord, and the Blessed Mother Mary.
Rosaire was a communicant of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Catholic Church in East Millinocket.
He is survived by seven siblings, Judy Deloge Albert of Texas, Janice Deloge, Karen Ruitto and her husband Patrick, Ricky Deloge and his wife Theresa, Sandra LaCombe and her husband Bob, Nathan Deloge and his wife Kristy, Herman Deloge and Peggy Thibodeau, all of Medway; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Additionally, he is survived by his three best friends, Carl Wheaton, Steve Hersey, and Mike Michaud. In addition to his parents, Rosaire was predeceased by two brothers, Dennis and Robert.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Thursday, September 13 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Friday, September 14 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 58 Cedar Street, East Millinocket, with the Rev. Bruce Siket, pastor, presider. Interment, with military honors, will be at the Grindstone Cemetery, Medway.
