Obituary for Robert C. Kubera

Millinocket – Robert C. Kubera, 70, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at a Bangor hospital. He was born August 22, 1951 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the son of Edward and Marion Kubera.
Robert arrived in Millinocket in the mid 1970’s and worked as a radio announcer for WMKR. He enjoyed that work and stayed there for 15 years before going to work for Carroll Moir and family at K & M Motors, where he stayed for another 15 years, and enjoyed working in that small family business. He was a member of the Millinocket Elks Lodge #1521. In retirement, Robert enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his son and grandson, as well as his entire family.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anna (Saucier) Kubera; one son, Justin Kubera and his wife Kasie; grandson, Mason; a sister, Janice Palmer; a brother, Carl Kubera; a brother in law, Paul Saucier and his wife Jill; a sister in law, Debra Roach and her husband Marty; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Philip, and Christopher, and a sister Eleanor (Kubera) Lombard.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, July 20 at the Millinocket Cemetery with Francis Megno officiating. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
