Obituary for Robert Ray "Jason" Anderson
East Millinocket – Robert Ray “Jason” Anderson, 71, died Thursday, July 14, 2022. He was born December 11, 1950 in Island Falls, the son of Vernal and Evangeline (Shorey) Anderson.
Jason was a graduate of Schenck High School, class of 1970. He went to work with Great Northern and participated in the last River Drive on the Penobscot in 1970 before entering the Army. He served in the Army from 1970-72, and then worked in the woods for several years.
He is survived by his mother, Evangeline Anderson; two brothers, Terry Anderson and Michael Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, Vernal “Buffy” Anderson, Jason was predeceased by three brothers, Larry, Rodney, and Richard.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 20 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.lamsonfh.com.
