Richard T. Lee Jr, 62, of Howland passed away peacefully on January 17, 2020 at his home. He died after a long battle with heart disease. Lee was born February 6, 1957 in Lincoln, the son of Richard Lee Sr. & Jacquelyn Tash-Proctor.
Lee worked most of his life as a diesel mechanic and enjoyed life to its fullest! He was known for his strong opinions and sense of humor. He had a unique way of always giving everyone he met a “nickname”.
Lee is pre-deceased by his mother & father. Survived by step-father Ralph Proctor Sr. and partner Margaret of Brooksville; step-mother Geraldine Lee of Howland; his son, Rich Lee III & fiancé Laura of Trenton; grandchildren Annabelle Lee, Sabrina Conary & Abbigail Lee; five sisters: Karen Fogg & husband Ed of Winn; Chris Peters & husband Mike of Villa Park, IL; Kathy Lehr & partner John of Hawthorne, FL, Terri Proctor of Wooster, MA; and Tracie Lee & partner Raymond of Howland; three brothers: Ralph Proctor Jr. & partner Kathy of Hawthorne, FL; Mark Fowler & wife Rachel of Sedgwick and Brent Lee of Howland; extended family Jeremy Fowler, his fiancé Erin & Lee’s dog Harry of Brooksville; Lois Beaupain & husband Jeremy of Lebanon.
Lee has many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews that held a very special place in his heart.
Richard Jr. requested that his life be celebrated and not mourned. The family is have a celebration of life, which is being held spring/summer 2020.
