Obituary for Rhonda L. Stratton (Tibbetts)

Howland – Rhonda L. Stratton, 67, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born February 13, 1952 in Lincoln, the daughter of Clyde E. and Christine F. (Johnson) Tibbetts, Sr.

Rhonda grew up in Lincoln, and married David Stratton of West Enfield on April 15, 1967. Rhonda was a faithful member of Howland Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and involved in many church activities. She worked as a CNA, and was a seamstress, owning her own shop for a period of time. Rhonda loved singing, and was a participant in the Lincoln Cantata for several years. She was a loyal and dedicated wife and mother, and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Stratton of Howland; four children, Shellina Langer and her husband Howard, David Stratton, Jr., Shawn Stratton, and Christine Byrne; fourteen grandchildren and great grandchildren; three siblings, Patty Ketch, Clyde “Mike’ Tibbetts, Jr., and Laurie Stubbs; a canine friend, friend, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rhonda was predeceased by an infant daughter.

At Rhonda’s request, services will be private. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
