Obituary for Reginald E. Murchison

Lincoln – Reginald E. Murchison, 76, died Friday, January 31, 2020 in Lincoln. He was born March 22, 1943 in Lincoln, the son of Howard and Leona (Ireland) Murchison.

Reginald grew up in Lincoln, and was a graduate of Mattanawcook Academy. He then served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Nautilus. While in the service, he learned his trade as an electrician. After his discharge, he worked for the Great Northern Paper Company in Millinocket as an electrician until his retirement.

Reginald is survived by three children, Felecia Lindquist and her husband Philip, Brent Murchison and his wife Jody, and Kim Murchison; four grandchildren, Adam Lindquist, Steven Lindquist, Morgan Murchison Harmon and her husband John, and Brett Murchison; three great grandchildren, Eli, Leo, and Ian Harmon; a brother, Dwight Murchison and his wife Clorice; two sisters, Polly Porter and her husband Sam, and Jodi Murchison Stockley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Reginald was predeceased by his wife, Judith (Harkins) Murchison.

Graveside services will be held in the springtime at the Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
