Obituary for Priscilla A. Reynolds (Bernard)

West Enfield – Priscilla A. Reynolds, 84, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. She was born August 30, 1936 in Lagrange, the daughter of Edward and Cecilia (Beaulieu) Bernard.

Priscilla grew up in Lagrange and Howland, and was a graduate of Penobscot Valley High School, class of 1955. In high school, Priscilla was very active in the beauty pageant circuit, and won many. She was a captain of the cheer leading squad all four years of high school, which suited her pleasant smile and warm personality. Priscilla was a school bus driver for more than 20 years, and was also a beautician. She loved her family, and was very dedicated to them. Her four boys were active in high school sports, and she never missed a game or event they were involved in. Priscilla will be remembered as a very kind, thoughtful, and loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by four sons, Kevin Brent McCannell and his wife Tracia; Richard Norton McCannell, Jr. and his wife Shari, Edward Joseph McCannell and his wife Kelly, and Brian Keith McCannell; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; a brother, Frances Bernard, Sr.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Priscilla was predeceased by her first husband, Richard N. McCannell, Sr., second husband Gerald Reynolds; and siblings Lorraine Day, Gloria Pinkham, George Paul Bernard, and Edward Bernard, Jr.

Graveside services will be held in the springtime at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, West Enfield. Services will be livestreamed, and messages of condolence expressed, at Priscilla’s Book of Memories at www.lamsonfh.com.
