Obituary for Patricia E. "Patsy" Cropley
Vanceboro – Patricia E. Cropley, 83, wife of the late Miles C. Cropley, Sr., died peacefully Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at her home. She was born Patricia Elaine McLaughlin on August 29, 1939, in Hartland, New Brunswick. To all that knew her, she was “Patsy”. She loved the outdoors and would often be seen sitting on the banks of Beaver Brook or riding the roads, hunting.
In addition to her husband and parents, Patsy was predeceased by a brother, Robert McLaughlin.
Patsy is survived by her five children, Carolyn Osborne and Roger, Chris McLaughlin and Mary, Beth Ruby and David, Miles Cropley, Jr., and Billy Cropley and Corinna; grandchildren Paul, Kevin, Mark and Ryan Osborne, David and Dustin Cropley, Dawn Ruby, Shayla Cropley Brown, Brandon Cropley, and Patrick and Nick Cropley; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Patsy’s Life will be held Saturday, January 8, 2023, from 1-4 PM at her home in Vanceboro. Patsy believed in helping others, so the family requests donations be made in her name to the charity of one’s choice.
