Obituary for Ollie W. Lancaster Jr.
Kingman – Ollie W. Lancaster, 90, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at his home in Kingman. He was born August 27, 1932, in Kingman, the son of Ollie W. and Annie Lancaster.
Ollie grew up in Kingman and attended school there. He drove a school bus when he was young and drove a truck for the Maine Department of Transportation, and then worked at Forster’s Manufacturing in Mattawamkeag until his retirement. Ollie enjoyed gardening, cutting his own firewood, and taking care of his property. He was a 50-year member of Springfield Lodge #217, A.F. & A.M., and was also a member of the Anah Shrine. His favorite thing to do was spend time with the love of his life, Joyce, who predeceased him and who he deeply missed
Ollie is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Ogden and Caroline Lee: and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Ollie was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Worcester) Lancaster, and his siblings Mary, Agnes, Bertha, Helen, and Harold.
