Condolence From: Bruce Leavitt
Condolence: My condolences to the family, he was a bright and happy man when I was saw him. He always was joyful and with a smile. When he was at Sweet Seniors he would always come out Sunday and enjoy the music and time of fellowship. When he was home in Millinocket and out on his rider going from store to store, talked with everyone. He truly was a blessing. Sincerely Bruce

Condolence: Marlene and Family
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. I was saddened to see this news. Your father was always, kind and pleasant whenever he came into the doctor's office. That is where I first met him not realizing he was your dad until later. Your tribute on this site to him is beautiful and certainly shows a daughter's love for her dad, he would be most proud. Obviously, he instilled many values into you. May the Good Lord be with you and yours in the days to come. In Friendship and With Sympathy, Becky

Condolence From: Marlene Stanley
Condolence: I love my dad with all my heart. Some say he was stubborn, I say he was determined. I saw a man who was kind, compassionate, giving and overly-generous. Bird houses, cribbage boards, walking sticks, wishing wells, he made and gave constantly. Just express in passing a desire for something, and it was yours. He gave freely. We all have "stuff" and it all came from him..always giving -his stuff, his time, his talent, himself. He was highly principled..black or white, there was never any gray. There was right and wrong and you always chose right...and he applied these principles to others ( and they often fell short of the mark). He was informed on everything going on, watching the news and reading the paper. In his 90's and he was still voting (democrat). In all things he made his own choices. His decision-making process never failed him, even to the point, I believe, that when he could no longer feed himself or go sit outside (which is where he thrived), he knew it was time to call it quits. One of the pictures on display is dad outside riding in a side by side. See his face. See the smile.. He is happy.I Rest in peace, dad. We all love you dearly.
