Obituary for Mary Annette Nadeau

Millinocket – Mary Annette Nadeau, 85, died December 28, 2022. She was born February 20, 1937 in Millinocket, the daughter of Edmund L. and Cecile A. (Thibodeau) Nadeau. Mary grew up and attended school in Millinocket. She was employed for many years taking care of children for families in Millinocket. She enjoyed visits with her family, playing cards with friends, spending time with her many cats over the years, and looking after the pets of her friends and neighbors. Mary was a volunteer with Eastern Area Agency on Aging, enjoyed helping at Meals for ME and was also a member of the local Daughters of Isabella. She was a parishioner of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Millinocket.
Mary is survived by her sister, Anita Blaisdell of Millinocket and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by siblings Alden, Edmond, Wayne, William, Richard, Arthur, Robert, Joseph, Wela, Gilda, and Nadine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Friday, January 6 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby Street, Millinocket with the Rev. Dominic Savio, pastor, presider. Spring interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Mary may be sent to the Penobscot Valley Humane Society, 1 Park Avenue, Lincoln, ME 04457. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
