Obituary for Marjorie M. Thibodeau (Worster)

Lincoln – Marjorie M. (Worster) Thibodeau, 80, beloved wife, mother, Mammie, sister, and friend entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

She was born September 13, 1939 in Prentiss, to Vernon A. and Louise (Smith) Worster. Marjorie attended the Church of God in Lincoln Center. Her greatest joy was being a Mom and grandmother. She loved being outside and in her younger years loved to fish with her husband Stuart. She felt close to her heavenly father when she was immersed in nature.

Cooking and cleaning were therapy to her and she always said she did her best thinking while ironing piles of clothes. In her spare time she liked to write children’s stories and poetry. She was delighted when her children’s book “Once Upon A Summer” was published. She continued to write up until her death.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years and by five children – Gregory Allen of Milford; Jeffery Allen of Lincoln and Alaska, Robert Allen and his wife Nicole of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Elaine LaPlante and her husband Arthur of Lee, and Alice Ann Grass and her husband Timothy of Madbury, New Hampshire; three sisters, Velma Lindsay and her husband Lloyd of Lincoln, Patricia Drake and her husband Francis of Springfield, and Janette Maxwell and her husband Colby of Lincoln; seventeen grandchildren, Keith, Erica, Robert, Jeffery, Joshuah, Shannon, Levi, Joseph, Talisa, Breanna, Megan, Sydney, Jordan, Hannah Rose, Tania, and Madison; seven great grandchildren; and many aunts, nieces, and nephews. She also is survived by special friends Charlene Washburn and Dottie Oliver and by all of her friends at Golden Key Senior Center. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald F. Worster and Delmont L. Worster.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM. Tuesday, October 15 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Interment will be at the Lincoln Cemetery, Park Street side. Gifts in memory of Marjorie may be sent to theLupus Foundation of America, Inc.
