Obituary for Margaret Nancy Rogerson

Millinocket - Margaret N. Rogerson, 77, passed away Friday February 22, 2019 at a Bangor hospital. She was born January 15, 1942, in Bangor, the daughter of Kenneth and Muriel (Nason) Harmon.

Margaret grew up in Millinocket and graduated from Stearns High School in 1960. Her grandfather Clarence Harmon produced the first sheet of paper for the Great Northern Paper Company. She then attended and graduated from Lawrence Memorial Hospital School Of Nursing in Massachusetts. Margaret worked as a registered nurse at Millinocket Regional Hospital for forty two years. In December of 1965 she married Robert Rogerson Jr. and would share twenty four years of marriage together. She enjoyed scrapbooking, putting puzzles together, and playing dominoes with her friends. She was a natural caregiver who was a great friend to many. She loved her family very much and enjoyed getting together with them on the holidays, cooking for them and playing games, especially Trivial Pursuit on Christmas Eve.

She is survived by three children: Kenneth Rogerson and his wife Sherri of Millinocket, Steven Rogerson and his partner Glenn Creel of Westbrook, Susan Seamans and her husband Dennis of Spartanburg, SC, three grandchildren: Barbara, Jay, Emily, three great grandchildren: Ricky, Bradley, Lacey, and a great-great grandson Wyatt. She also leaves behind a brother John Harmon and his wife Charlotte of Millinocket as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Robert, she was predeceased by a grandson Justin, a brother Tom Harmon and his wife Linda.

A graveside service will be conducted at Millinocket Cemetery at a later date. Those who wish to remember Margaret in a special way may make gifts payable in her memory to the American Diabetes Assoc.
