Burlington - Lora G. Harding, 78, passed away October 8, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Lora was born October 11, 1941 to Clyde and Madeline (Ewing) Shorey. She was born in Burlington, Maine where she also raised her family and lived the majority of her life. She worked for over 40 years as school secretary for SAD#31, providing love and support to so many children in our community. Lora loved spending time with her family and her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother.
She is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey and wife Rhonda, Joel and his partner Angie & her children Marcus and Emileigh, Andrew and his wife Renee; along with her beloved grandchildren Christy Sarnacki, Brady, Laney and Colin Harding; great-granddaughter Chloe; sister Lillian Thomas; brother Clyde Shorey Jr and wife Glenda; many special nieces and nephews, as well as close friends, Ruthie Thurlow, Mary Sage, Marilyn Applebee, and Blaine & Lorna Gordon. She is predeceased by her first husband, Reynold Michaud; her second husband Phillip Harding; her beloved grandson Jered Michaud; sisters Lenora Priest, Barbara Smith, Sandra Colby; brother Orland Shorey.
The family would like to thank Cummings Healthcare and Community Health and Counseling for their care. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 17 at 1pm at Mount Repose Cemetery in Burlington.
