Obituary for Linwood Buck

Burlington – Linwood W. Buck, 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his home in Burlington after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born October 18, 1946 in Old Town, the son of Amos and Rose (Lavoie) Buck.
Linwood grew up in Old Town, and was a graduate of Old Town High School. He served in the Army for over 20 years, retiring from Presidio, California as an E-8. He loved hunting and fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Linwood is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Gallardo) Buck; eight children, Judy Desmond and her husband Troy, Sandra Wood, Terry Buck, Dante Gallardo and his wife Jenna, Donato Nagtalon and his wife Anna, Dennis Nagtalon and his wife Jessica, Dustin Nagtalon and his fiancé Sheila; and Desiree Norcross and her husband Cody; and several grandchildren, great grandchildrens, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Linwood was predeceased by his brother Stanley.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to Mary, Stacy, Ashley, and Scott from Community Health and Counseling Services for the tremendous help and assistance they gave to Linwood during his illness.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-6 P.M. Friday, July 26 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
