Obituary for Linda L. Parker (Moody)

Danforth – Linda L. Parker, 78, died Monday, February 24, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 7, 1941 in Danforth, the daughter of Donald and Viola (Cropley) Moody.

Linda was a very independent, amazing, and selfless woman who always put her family first. Through her unconditional love, she was the glue and rock that held the family together. She was a retired nurse, having worked 3 years at Houlton Regional Hospital and 16 years at Danforth Habilitation Association. She was an active volunteer at the Danforth Library and Danforth Food Pantry until her death.

Linda is survived by ten children, Frederick and Kristy, Dwayne, Charles and Linda, Cheryl and Joe, Donald and Audrey, Roger and Carmela, Crystal and Wally, Wade and Tammy, Heather and Erwin, and John and Shana; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her significant other Leroy Davis, who she loved and cherished dearly and his family – Carl and Patti, Julie and Lester, and their families; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will also be missed by a special friend, Connie McEwen. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd F. Parker, a granddaughter, Liza Parker, sisters Majel and Judy and their spouses, and son in law Bobby Bonner.

Graveside services will be held in the springtime at Hilltop Cemetery in Danforth. Mom, until we meet again, we love you!
