Obituary for Linda G Balthazor
Lincoln – Linda G. Balthazor, 69, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 in Lincoln. She was born October 5, 1952 in St. James, Minnesota, the fourth child of seven born to Leo and Eleanor (Hoffman) Balthazor.
Linda was a talented artist and will be remembered for her beautiful artwork. In recent years, she worked at the Rockland Courier Gazette as a graphic designer. Prior to living in Maine, she lived in Long Island, New York and also in Arizona. Her creative talents crossed the spectrum from painting, sculpting, designing, and building, and she was always heavily involved in any home improvement projects being done in her home. Linda had a warm personality and enjoyed working with children through church ministry, which was always enhanced with her involvement. Linda loved to sing, and belonged to church choirs in Long Island and also at her current church home, the First Congregational Church of East Millinocket, where she was an active member who will be missed.
Linda is survived by her spouse, Lee Ann Betz; two sons, Michael Beavis and his wife Kendra, and Brian Beavis; two grandchildren, Shaun and Mia Berry; six siblings, Leo, Dennis, Michael, Kevin, Lisa, and LaRae; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday April 16, 2022 at First Congregational Church of East Millinocket. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Lincoln. Messages of condolence may be expressed at Linda’s Book of Memories at www.lamsonfh.com.
