Obituary for Lillian E. Stinson (Gary)
Sherman – Lillian E. (Gary) Stinson, 90, wife of the late Clarence E. Stinson, died Saturday, January 30 2021 at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born September 6, 1930 in Mattawamkeag, the daughter of Frank and Marion (Merrill) Gary.
Lillian liked working with her hands, and enjoyed knitting, sewing, embroidery, and quilting. She kept herself quite busy, and her family will miss the many items she made for them.
She is survived by three children, Gladys McEachern, Chauncey Stinson, and Milton Stinson; twelve grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; two sisters, Carlene McLain and Arlene Fogg; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and her husband, Lillian was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Gary, Jr. and Dwight Gary.
Graveside services will be held in the springtime at the Baldwin Cemetery, Prentiss. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
