Obituary for Lawrence H. Milton Jr.
Howland – Lawrence H. Milton, Jr., 80, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 in Howland. He was born November 1, 1939 in Enfield, the son of Lawrence and Harriet (Doane) Milton.
Lawrence married the love of his life, Shirley Terrio, on September 15, 1956. He was a very hard worker, and worked many jobs from a young age until his retirement from Prentiss & Carlisle. Even after retirement, he continued to work part time and could often be seen with his cousin, Myron, haying or gardening, constantly staying busy.
Lawrence is survived by three children, David and his wife Anne, Tammy Gray, and Nancy Osborn and her husband Tom; grandchildren Aric Gray and his wife Susan, Mark Osborn and his wife Amanda, Jessica (Osborn) Wallace and her husband Darin, Jeremy Milton, Matthew Osborn and his wife Sara, and Jamie (Milton) Ciomei and her husband Nick; great grandchildren, Ciyera and Logan Wallace, Lux Osborn, Aiden and Aria Osborn, Spencer and Emery Ciomei; siblings Ensley, Gloria, Valerie, Dalton, Sharon, and Brenda; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Shirley, a son, Paul, son in law Doug Gray, and a grandson, Justin Gray.
A celebration of Lawrence’s life will be held 1-3 P.M. Saturday, November 23 at the home of Nancy and Tom Osborn, 477 North Howland Road, Howland.
