Mattawamkeag - Kyle Lester Rideout, 49, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, due to a tragic accident. He was born December 19, 1971, the son of Carroll and Joanne (Laing) Rideout Sr.
Kyle grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in 1991. He worked at many various jobs until his current employment with Ireland's Rubbish Service for the last seventeen years. Kyle was a dedicated employee and always gave the job and customers his best. Kyle was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His most treasured times was spent watching his kids have fun either at Lacey's dance recitals, or at a t-ball game for Jacob.
One of Kyle's hobbies from his youth was raising chickens and he was excited to share the raising of chickens with his children. As a child, he loved watching the trucks go by and having them sound their horns, and passed this hobby onto his son Daniel.
Kyle was a man of few words but his actions spoke for him. He was always there to help people and to make them happy.
In addition to his mother Joanne Rideout, he is survived by his wife and mother of his children Danielle Morrison, three children: Lacey, Jacob, Daniel Rideout, a brother Carroll Rideout Jr. and his wife Wanda, and two special nephews: Andrew and Arron. Kyle also felt very fortunate to have his inlaws and he was especially close to Kelly and David Butler and their daughters: Cassandra, Meagan, Kayleigh, Sharon Childs and her sons: Adam, Andrew, and Anthony, and Mike and Michelle Butler and their children. Kyle was also blessed with two lifelong friends: Roger Trott Jr, and Heath Libby and their families. He was predeceased by his father Carroll Lester Rideout Sr., and his sister Crystal Delores Rideout.
Friends may call 2 PM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a memorial service will be conducted at 3 PM with Pastor Mark York officiating.
