Millinocket - KATHLEEN A. VIENNEAU, 89, passed in her daughter’s home surrounded by family on Sunday, June 26, 2022. She was the daughter of Victor and Madeline Plourde. Born January 14, 1933, in Millinocket, she graduated from Stearns High School in 1950, and graduated with an RN degree at Mercy Hospital in Portland. She went on to work in a hospital in Hartford Connecticut and then MRH in Millinocket. She attended St. Martin of Tours, a devoted catholic for many years. She prayed the Rosary daily, volunteered at the church teas, taught CCD, and was also a Girl Scouts leader. She was passionate about knitting, sewing and crafts. She married her husband Francis May 11th ,1957. In her later years she enjoyed traveling with her husband around the United States and Canada. She is survived by her 3 daughters Marilee Alley, Lynn Robinson and her husband Maynard, and Nancy Grant; her brother Norman Plourde; sister Brenda Angotti; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her beloved cat Chole. She was predeceased by her husband Francis, her sister Joan, and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 PM Friday, July 1 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby Street, Millinocket with the Rev. Dominic Savio, pastor, presider. Interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery. Donations can be made to Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
