Millinocket – Karen E. (Nielsen) Carr, 70, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Millinocket Regional Hospital. She was born January 17, 1952, a daughter to Carl and Ruth Nielsen,
In her younger years, she enjoyed being around her family and friends. She worked at B & M Baked Beans, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and at a couple hotels providing housekeeping services. She loved to go to Bingo with her daughter April. She also loved spending time with her granddaughter Lillee and staying at home with her son Shawn. Karen also enjoyed playing games on her computer.
She is survived by her loving daughter April and her boyfriend Kurt Thompson; her granddaughter Lillee that she loved so much; and her brother Peter Nielsen. In addition to her parents, Karen was predeceased by her son, Shawn Carr.
