Obituary for Judyth L. Hallett (Crocker)

Howland – Judy stepped into Glory, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, August 30, 2020, where she met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Judy was predeceased by a son, and by her parents, Clayton and Ruth Crocker. She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 51 years, Mike; sons Scott Hallett and his wife Leanne and Jacob Hallett and his wife Linda; two special daughters ,Erin Connor and Kathy Hallett; a brother David Crocker and his wife Martha; a sister, Cynthia Clay and her husband Bruce; and many nieces and nephews. Judy will also be missed by two very special friends, Millard and Cheryl Hach, who she enjoyed singing with for many years.
Judy was well known for her perfect harmony singing. She was very proud of her trip to Allstate when she was in high school. Judy loved music, and learned to play the mandolin, guitar, and played the piano. She loved her camp on South Branch Lake, enjoyed fishing, and had bragging rights to catching the largest bass at camp. Judy enjoyed photographing loons, taking 2nd place in a photo contest. She also loved gardening, as well as flowers. A true servant of the Lord, Judy always started her day with a time of praying for her family and friends, and reading God’s word. Judy taught Sunday School over the years and also Jr. Choir. Judy’s heart was with special needs children that she worked with for over 20 years. She was a great cook and always said she inherited her ability from her Grammy Crocker. She loved sewing and making quilts, and she also crocheted over 200 baby blankets which she gave to expectant mothers. Judy was a very compassionate person who always thought of others.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Cummings Health Care for their compassion and great care they showed Judy. Also to Tammy McKechnie and Mariea Thurlow for the compassion and care they showed Judy while she was at home, as well as to CHCS for their thoughtful care.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the West Enfield Cemetery, Route 2, West Enfield with Pastor Scott Taylor officiating. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
