East Millinocket – Judy E. Smith, 70, passed away at home, surrounded by family and friends, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was born July 19, 1952 in Jackman, the daughter of Theresa Cyr.

Judy grew up in Jackman, and was a graduated of Jackman High School, class of 1970. She married Frank Quirion and had two daughters – Nioka Quirion and Kayani (Bonnie) Vannah, who survive her. She remarried the Rev. Thomas Smith in 2017. Judy had many jobs in her lifetime, the most recent being driver of the Lynx bus in the surrounding area. Judy had a passion for nature’s beauty and a deep love for her Savior. She was dedicated to the work of the Lord and assisted in many facets of the church affairs. She played music for the song service as she and her guitar were one. She loved helping and was admired for being able to meet people’s needs. Spending time in the woods, hunting, and fishing were some of her favorite pastimes.
Judy is survived by a brother Clifton Fournier. In addition to her mother, Judy was predeceased by her husband.
