Obituary

Millinocket – Judith Anne Waltz, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from emphysema. With gospel music from Elvis playing softly in the background, angels guided her soul to heaven.

Judy was born February 25, 1946 in Rumford, the daughter of Rita Gallant. When she was young, she moved to Millinocket where Fred Pasquine became her step father. Judy enjoyed knitting and crocheting doilies. She worked at Pamola Motor Lodge for 25 years, under the direction of 4 different owners. Although she was on oxygen for 2 years, she found strength and encouragement in reading from “Our Daily Bread” everyday.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Harold E. Waltz; two children, Richard Waltz and his companion Sherri, and Linda Haines; three grandchildren, Nicholas Waltz, Dylan Waltz, and Hannah Wardwell; brother, Bill Frisbee and his wife Joanie, sister Sharon Michaud, Elaine Manzo and her husband Norm, Tammy Kaspala and her husband Rich; special friends, Vicki Dubois, Nancy Grant, and Juanita Boddy; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Judy was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, an infant daughter, Beth Anne, and a brother, Fred Pasquine, Sr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday, November 21 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, where funeral services will begin at 1 PM. Interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Judy may be sent to the Katahdin Area Support Group, P.O. Box 374, Millinocket, ME 04462.
