Millinocket – Joyce F. (Fowler) Nason, 63, has lost her battle but won the war. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus. Joyce was born September 23, 1959 in Millinocket to Kenneth and Charlene (Bowley) Fowler.
She was a lifelong resident of Millinocket. Jody loved to garden, paint, and loved making jewelry. She loved all the wonders of this life held with her family and at the cottage on Sebec Lake.
Jody leaves behind her beloved husband of 47 years, David Nason; her treasured sons Justin T. Nason and Joshua J. Nason and his wife Kaci; grandsons Matthew and Thomas Nason; sister in law Ellen Helstrom; a very special aunt, Marion Boss; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Krasin and all staff at Millinocket Regional Hospital who gave compassionate and respectful care to Jody, and also to the first responders from the East Millinocket and Millinocket departments for their excellent care, specifically to Chief Tom Malcolm for being a dear friend to the family.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, November 1 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. Friends are invited to visit with the family in the hour preceding the service.
