Obituary for Joyce Marie Lynch (Larlee)

Millinocket and East Millinocket - Joyce Marie (Larlee) Lynch, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born May 31, 1931 in Millinocket, the daughter of Charles and Kathleen (McCrea) Larlee. Joyce graduated from Stearns High School in 1948 and married Donald Lynch on August 19, 1950. They shared 61 happy years together and Donald predeceased her on July 10, 2011. She and Donald lived in East Millinocket for 57 years before returning to Millinocket in 2010. Joyce was a member of the East Millinocket Congregational Church.
Joyce, along with Donald always thought that their greatest accomplishment was their family. She loved having her family around for gatherings, especially at Christmas. Joyce also enjoyed, cooking, reading, playing bridge and dominoes with her friends and quilting. She made quilts for her four children, nine grandchildren and other family members.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald and her sister Shirley Albert.
She is survived by her children; Dawn and husband Mark Bossie, Charles and wife Julie Lynch, Nancy and husband Garth Wilbanks and Rob and wife Barbara Lynch. Her grandchildren; Tim Bossie and wife Julie, Tiffany Bossie and fiancé Jameson Smith, Jason Lynch, Josh Lynch and wife Breana, Nathan Lynch and friend Kim Tilton, Andrew Clark and wife Jade, Kathleen Clark and friend Mark Nordby, Jillian (Lynch) Devlin and husband Paul and Andrea Lynch. Great-Grandchildren; Olivia Bossie, Charley Lynch and Logan Lynch. Sister-In-Law; Beverly Lynch and Brother-In-Law; Eugene (Runt) Albert, as well as nieces, nephews and loved ones.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, so, we would like to say ”We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck”.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 12 – 1 PM Friday, June 11, 2021 at the First Congregational Church of East Millinocket, 11 Maple Street, where funeral services will begin at 1 with the Rev. Mary Jane Frost, pastor, presider. Interment will be at the East Millinocket Cemetery. Following the committal, a luncheon will be held at the church.
