Millinocket – John L. Wright, Sr., 63, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his home. He was born August 3, 1958 in Pensacola, Florida.

John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served a tour as a young man. He enjoyed fishing, watching Korean films, playing pool and video games, and spending his money on shopping trips. John enjoyed spending time with his family and keeping up with those who did not live close. He will be remembered as a caring man who could leave a trail of smiles with those he encountered.

John is survived by six children, Tricia Wright, Joshua Wright, Daniel Wright, Amanda Wright, Samantha Wright, and Jessica Wright; and many grandchildren. He will also be missed by the mother of his children, Tammy Drapeau. John was predeceased by two children, John Wright, Jr., and Jennifer Wright.
