Millinocket – John T. “Jack” Swanson, 64, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. He was born September 6, 1956 in Millinocket, the son of John and Pauline (DiMarco) Swanson.
Jack grew up in Millinocket, and was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1974, and also attended the University of Maine at Augusta. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed his many years of teaching music to children and adults. Jack will also be remembered for his sharp wit and humor, and those who knew him will have many stories to tell.
Jack is survived by a special aunt, Carmela (DiMarco) Hikel and many cousins. In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special thanks to Jack’s friends, relatives, and healthcare professionals who were there for him when needed.
