I could not fit all my fun memories of Jack onto this one page. He could always make me laugh and we had some very good talks over the last few years. I will always think of him every time I hear “This Diamond Ring”. He tried teaching it to me on the guitar when we were young, and we sang it constantly. I hate that you suffered so badly and for so long. I know your Mom is holding you now. xox Love, Gail

Jack, even though we were not in Millinocket a lot. I always thought you were so cool.. a musician and such a great guy. As a far away cousin, I hope you rest in peace and join your mom and dad in heaven and play music for them! Rest in Peace. Deidre DiMarco McPadden ( Al's daughter).

Jack was gifted. And he shared that gift. Jack may be gone but the gift will live on. Godspeed, Phat Man. We will miss and remember you.

I first met Jack when he was in high school and he came to our home looking for help learning the guitar. He was a quick learner and an equally quick wit. A few years later when he was attending the University of Maine in Augusta he would come over to show and teach me what he had learned, a very kind and considerate soul. He ended up being a master guitarist and probably the best dry wit I have met. I believe that Jack's stories, have and will continue to have, a very positive effect on all the friends he made, I extend my condolences to Jack's family and friends on this loss to us all.

I met Jack through my son, who took guitar lessons from him. He taught guitar but, more importantly, life lessons to my son and I’m sure to many others. He was a gentleman.
