Lincoln and Medway – Jillissa A. Chenette, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 20, 2021 at her home in Lincoln. She was born January 3, 1996 in Bangor, the daughter of Robert D. and Laurice M. (Grant) Grass.

Jillissa grew up in Medway, and was a graduate of Schenck High School, class of 2014. She went on to graduate from the Empire Beauty School and had been employed as a hairdresser in Bangor. Jillissa will be remembered as a kind, good hearted and loving wife and mother who was loved by many. She was always good spirited and was always willing to do anything she could to help anyone who had need. She loved animals and her family more than anything. Jillissa will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Jillissa is survived by her mother, Laurice M. Brackett and her husband Jamie; her husband of 4 years, Scott A. Chenette; a daughter, Sophia; a brother Robert Grass and his wife Sarah; paternal grandmother, Doris Grass; maternal grandparents Moe Grant and Betsy Kinney; uncle Gary Grass and his wife Jenny; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jillissa will also be missed by a special cousin, Echo Grant. She was predeceased by her father, Robert D. Grass, Jr. and her grandfather, Robert D. Grass, Sr.

Memorial services will be held at a date to be announced. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
