Obituary for Jill S. Boynton (Glidden)
Millinocket – Jill S. Boynton, 60, wife of the late Robert W. “Bobby” Boynton, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at a Bangor hospital after a period of declining health. She was born September 9, 1957 in Millinocket, the daughter of Toby and June (Dwyer) Glidden.
Jill grew up in Millinocket, and was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1976. Jill enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially spending time at her camp on Ambajejus Lake.
She is survived by two sons, Aaron Porter and Russell Porter, both of Millinocket; two grandchildren, Nason and Kennedy Porter; a brother, Russell Glidden; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Jill was predeceased by a sister, Dawn LaPlante, and a brother, Tom Glidden.
Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, May 24 at the Millinocket Cemetery, with Francis Megno officiating. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
