Lincoln - James Douglas McCloskey Sr. at 81 years old passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Known as Doug his entire life, he is now at rest with his beloved wife of 55 years, Gloria. They leave behind four children: Patty Cloukey and Tim, Pam McGinn and Jeff, Jim McCloskey and Mary, Laurie Lachance and Roch, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Doug was a man of deep faith and modeled that with his devotion to his family. He touched the lives of many other extended family members with his brand of goodness. Doug will be affectionately remembered for his quick wit and dry humor. He set a standard that will influence his family for generations to come and will be deeply missed. A funeral mass and burial service will be held in the spring. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
