Obituary for Helen M. Keith (Osgood)
Kingman and Bangor – Helen M. (Osgood) Keith, 98, wife of the late Ronald Keith, died Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Bangor. She was born June 14, 1924, in Old Town, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Thompson) Osgood.
Helen was raised in Kingman and worked for the Bangor Daily News as a proofreader for over 40 years. She was an avid walker and for many years she would walk to work. Helen’s favorite time of the year was Christmas. She loved buying and wrapping presents. Every present was always wrapped to perfection. She always made Christmas extra special for her nieces and nephews.
Helen is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and her husband, Helen was predeceased by brothers Franklin, Daniel, Wilfred, Jesse, and Fred Osgood, Jr., sisters Nellie Keith, Marilyn Noble, Patricia Perry, and Paula Linscott.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Sunday, September 11 at the Kingman Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Lincoln. Messages of condolence may be expressed at Helen’s Book of Memories at www.lamsonfh.com.
