Obituary for Helen G. Cochran (carver)
Mattawamkeag and Augusta – Helen G. Cochran, 85, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Augusta. She was born May 19, 1934 in Mt. Chase, the daughter of Freemont and Georgie May (Oakes) Carver.
Helen loved her children, grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. She loved being with her family for gatherings and holidays. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being on the ocean.
Helen will be missed by her loving children and their spouses, Mary Lou and Steve, Marty and Susan, Angie and Guy, Tony, and Jenna and Rob. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley, Alice, Betty, and Sharon and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Fred, sons Albert and Quince, and granddaughter Krissy.
Funeral services will be private, and she will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Patten Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
