Helen was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, and a member and volunteer of the Emblem Club and Elks Lodge. She enjoyed many years of camping at The Big Eddy, darts at the Elk's Lodge, Karaoke at the American Legion, pitch at VFW, bowling in area leagues, bingo, and working on various craft projects. She loved to cook for her family and fully enjoyed the many family gatherings with her children and grandchildren. She also looked forward to day trips to Bangor for lunch and shopping (even if she didn't need anything, and then returning most of what she bought!).
Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-7 P.M. Friday, November 15 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Saturday, November 16 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby Street, Millinocket. Interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery at a later date.
Helen”s favorite charity was St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, which had a special place in her heart, in the event anyone wishes to make a donation in her memory. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.

Helen was an amazing woman. When I was younger she took me into her home even though she had seven children at the time. Her positive attitude and caring ways helped me through a very difficult time. Helen was beautiful inside and out and most of all kind. She never complained and was a multi-tasker. I will never forget her kindness and sweet heart.

To my beloved family...Your mom, sister, wife, aunt, grandmother, mother-in-law...was a, strong, gracious, sweet, loving, funny, amazing woman, who i will never forget and will always love and cherish! I am feeling regretful that i had not seen her for a few years, but she was always on my mind and in my heart. My fondest memory of Aunt Helen is the time we were at Aunt Bev's house and i was curling her hair, helping her primp for her date with Uncle Paul. I think it was my most treasured time with her! I take comfort knowing she is now with her family who passed before her, telling jokes with my dad and just hanging out with everyone. My deepest condolences and love to you all. Debbie
