Obituary for Hailey Ann Goding

Lincoln – On the morning of Sunday, June 6, 2021, our dear, sweet, smiling angel Hailey Ann Goding answered the beckoning call of Jesus and entered into her eternal home of everlasting peace, joy, happiness, and a playground that defies imagination.

Hailey Ann was born January 29, 2018, and from that day on was a smiling bundle of energy that brought happiness, laughter, and boundless joy to her loving and doting family. She loved all things sparkly, from things having glitter on them, to reflecting her sparkling personality through whatever caught her interest. Hailey loved tending her pet chickens, insisting on taking them to McDonald’s for chicken nuggets (not visiting any of their relatives, though!) She was beginning to develop an appreciation for owls, just like her grandmother. Hailey brought more joy to life in her short time on earth than she could ever know and made it a better place for all who encountered her.

Hailey is survived by her mother, Hillary Goding; her Grammie and Pop Pop, Ursula and Brian Picciano; paternal grandparents, Dale and Bonnie Goding; great grandparents Jeanne “GiGi” Smart and John “Grandpa” Moholland; great aunt Alison Porter and great uncle Glen; her best bud Jace; and countless friends and relatives whose life she touched and will always remember her.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 PM Thursday, June 10 at the Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, June 11. Interment will be at the Lincoln Cemetery. Services will be livestreamed, and messages of condolence may be expressed, at Hailey’s Book of Memories at www.lamsonfh.com.
