Obituary for Glenn C. Brawn

Lincoln –Glenn C. Brawn, 93, died Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Lincoln. He was born December 14, 1928 in Lee, the son of Langdon and Shirley (Coffin) Brawn.

Glenn grew up in Lincoln and was a hard worker his entire life from a very young age. He worked in the woods for many years, cutting wood, loading his truck, and delivering it to his customers. Glenn worked for Cianbro for several years but was best known as a truck driver and part time race car driver. Glenn was a member of Horeb Lodge #93, A.F. & A.M. and the Anah Shrine. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean War and was glad to complete his service. Glenn was a familiar face around town, and his absence will be noticed by many.

Glenn is survived by a son, Glenn L. Brawn and his wife Laurie; a grandson, Derrick Brawn and his wife Erika; a granddaughter Kristen LaFreniere and her husband Zach; four great grandchildren, Farrah Brawn, Quinn Brawn, Dax Brawn, and Maren LaFreniere; brother, Ed Brawn and his girlfriend Janice Brehaut; special friend Pamela McLaughlin; a niece, Angela Brawn and Jessie Gilman; and grandniece Tyler Brawn. He was predeceased by his parents.

Graveside services will be held 10 AM Friday October 28, 2022 at the Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln. Messages of condolence may be expressed at Glenn’s Book of Memories at www.lamsonfh.com.
