Mattawamkeag – Frank R. “Pat” Gary, 78, passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on December 19, 2018. He was born September 22, 1940 in Mattawamkeag to Frank E. and Nettie (Moore) Gary.

Pat was a hard worker who dedicated 43 years to Lincoln Pulp & Paper as a Millwright until he retired in 2003. Pat was always smiling and willing to help out both strangers and friends.

Pat was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, as well as two sons, Patrick and Roderick, and his oldest daughter Kathy. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Christine E. (Nash) Gary and three sisters and a half sister. He also leaves behind two daughters, Andrea L. (Gary) Smart of Parsonsfield and her husband William, and Denise M. (Gary) Osnoe and her husband Sonny; his beloved grandchildren Keith, Sonny Ray, Robert, Bobbi-Jo, Chad, Joshua, Jacob, Gary, and Christine and their significant others; and many great grandchildren. Pat will be lovingly missed and remembered by all.

Graveside services will be held in the springtime at Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Clay Chapel, Lincoln.
